Plan it by the site

Rules of thumb from campground and RV-park orders. Your layout decides, but these get a first list right.

Picnic tables

1 per site

A 6 ft table with two attached bench seats fits a standard RV or tent pad. Add 2 to 4 for a group area or pavilion.

Accessible tables

1 per accessible site

Accessible campsites need a wheelchair-accessible table, and picnic areas need a share of them. Check your agency's requirement.

Trash receptacles

1 per 2 sites

Plus one at the bathhouse, the dump station and the store. A rain bonnet lid keeps water and most animals out.

Benches

2 per fire ring

Backless benches around fire rings, benches with backrests at the bathhouse, office and trailheads.

Portable or in-ground?

Portable

Free-standing on its own frame. Move it to mow, to open a site for a bigger rig, or to set up a group area for the weekend. The most common choice for RV sites.

In-ground

Stands on posts set below grade, so it stays where you put it and does not walk off. A good fit for day-use areas, trailheads and sites near public roads. Available for the 46 in round and square tables and the 6 ft bench with backrest.

Delivery to a campground

How it arrives

Crated, by freight truck, from Texas. A campground is a limited-access delivery: choose "Freight + limited access (liftgate included)" at checkout, $100 over the base freight. The driver lowers each crate to the ground at the truck; your crew moves it from there.

Freight table and delivery guide

Orders of $10,000 or more

Ship free to the lower 48 states and DC, limited-access delivery included. Most full-loop orders get there: 20 tables at the 10+ price are already $10,980. Large orders are confirmed on a project quote with the same prices.

Questions campground owners ask

How many picnic tables does a campground need?
Plan one table per campsite, plus two to four for a group area or pavilion. A 6 ft table with two attached bench seats suits a standard RV or tent pad; an 8 ft table, with longer bench seats, suits larger sites.
Should campsite tables be portable or in-ground?
Portable tables can be moved for mowing or bigger rigs and are the usual choice for RV sites. In-ground tables stand on posts set below grade and stay in place, which suits day-use areas and sites near public roads.
Do you deliver to campgrounds and RV parks?
Yes. Everything ships crated by freight truck from Texas to the lower 48 states and DC. Choose the limited-access rate at checkout (liftgate included). Orders of $10,000 or more ship free, limited access included.
Can we pay by purchase order or order tax exempt?
Yes. Send the list as a project quote and a person replies within one business day. Quantity prices and free freight over $10,000 apply to quotes the same way.
What warranty comes with the tables?
Every table, bench and receptacle carries our 10-Year Limited Warranty. If a part is missing or fails under the warranty, we ship the replacement free.
How soon can it ship?
Every model is in stock in Texas. Transit is 1 to 8 business days depending on the zone; your ZIP on any product page shows it.
